1Which project
was your favorite or most successful this semester? Please explain.
This was my favorite project because we got to make whatever we wanted. Although there was positive and some negatives in the making of this project i still enjoyed it. We got to use spray paint and color it however we wanted to. The positives to this project were that we got to be creative with it and made it however we wanted to. Another positive thing that we did was that we got to spray paint the different colors on their. The negatives to this project is that we had to trace and if someone hit the projector then your project would be ruined. Another negative thing is that we had to use the
exact o knife to cut out every little detail and that took forever.
Regardless of whether you liked or disliked a project, which one did you learn, grow, or developed the most from? Please explain.
I learned a lot from this project since it was my very first
One that i ever did. I was not very confident on what it was going to look like but it end turning out really well. I learned that it takes a lot of time to make something turn out well. It also takes a lot of effort to do something. We had to pick a person from the board and then went through many other steps to create this piece of art. I developed
a lot such as learning how to add value to a painting or
drawing. Also i learned to add detail to.
Choose 1 piece of Art that you used skills and techniques learned from previous projects. Discuss your growth as an artist and how you incorporated these skills and techniques to create the piece.
This work of art was pretty hard but i think i did a good job on it. This took all my skills that i learned before and i had to combine them all to make this. I had to add value like i did to the sea and i had to make some of things stick out more than others. The sea for example, i had to add different values because some parts of the sea are darker than
others. The very dark is far out sea and the lightest is at the
shore. The sand i had to make it light because that is were no
water gets to, and the dark is where it washes on the sand.
I outlined the art before i colored over it because i waned to
know which part would be witch.
Which project do
you feel was the least important in learning the concepts taught in this
course? Please explain.
Choose a piece of artwork where the subject matter reflects you as an artist; one that you have a personal connection to. Please explain your choice.
I I think this project was the least important because it was not very fun. I had no idea what i was doing. We had to pick an animal, then find a background for it and cut it out. I was not good at cutting out the animal. I did not think
anything i learned from the projects before ever helped me in this piece. We
did not have any values in it. When it tried putting the values in, it looked like
a random in line in the middle of my cut out. After that we had to pick out
paints and then put paint on the cut out and lay it down on it. I did not
enjoy this project.

I
think the most successful project i did this semester was the
anomorphosis drawing. I think this because i already had an idea of what
i was doing when we went into the computer lab that day. I had a lot of
great colors i used to make this drawing. I used purple, blues, blacks,
yellows, and some grey. I thought of this idea because i used my hockey
glove at my house as a reference guide. The colors all worked well
together in a way that made my project look good. After that i had to
make it stand up so i drew a shadow. Then Mrs. Rossi came around and
took a picture from a view point that would like it was standing up.
